Explore 6 130 year old train tunnels along the Colorado Midland Ute. This trail is full of history as the tunnels will show, but make sure you bring a flashlight along. It is recommended that you hike with a partner on this trail instead of alone.
Drive on Hwy. 24 west out of Colorado Springs. Exit at the Cave Dwellings <br /><br />signal. Go down the off ramp onto Manitou Ave. Right across the intersection <br /><br />where the road meets Manitou Ave. There is a large dirt lot. Park here. Ride up <br /><br />Manitou Ave. (west) until you see the obvious trail head on the left side of the <br /><br />road.
